How have I changed?

I think that in the past five years of my life I have changed a lot, in every aspect, the way that I talk, the things that I like, the way how I think. Five years ago I diced to abandoned the church that I usually went with my family, because I realize that I didn’t like the religion , and the way they make things thinking that they doing greats actions when they are actually giving hate messages against minorities, like when they give they homophobic speeches. In these five years I learned to open my mind more and not prejudge, or a lets I try not to, but don’t get me wrong, I still believe in God, but I do not rule for any religion. Other change is the things that I like, after I was really into pop music, but no anymore, I still heard it sometimes but now my favorite gender od music is rock-pop, and the type of books that I read are different too, before I only read juvenile literature, and now I enjoy more the young adult books, and also some classic ones. A subject that I enjoyed this semester

This semester in university I have really enjoy the subject called “Diseños de investigación”, the class is divided into two blocks, the first one is for the expositive class, where the teacher give us the lesson of the day and we can make questions for clarify our doubts, after that in the second block we are divided in little groups to make workshops, this part is the most important because we put our knowledge and learning of the class in practice, the groups are always changing and they are determinates by the teacher and is really funny work with different classmates. This subject also has activities outside the class time, where we have to read texts and then make an abstract and answer to a question about it that is also made by the teacher. So far we have learned about how to make an investigation question, the process that comes whit it, how to search bibliography and the different methodology’s for made an investigation. Career related website.

A website that I like is Google Scholar, this web is really useful for my career, sociology. I discovered it because in one class the teacher talks about it and it changed my life. When I have to make work for the university I always need to add quotes of different authors to back up what I'm saying. Google Scholar is different of the normal Google because is focused and specialized in the search of content of literature and scientific-academic. It’s very easy to use, you just have to search like you would do on the normal Google and you can choose between Spanish or English results, you can also make your own profile with your academics data and if you want to save one article you can add it to your bibliotheca, it also has different codes to filter and have better results.   I used it every time that I have a work for the university, that’s mean, almost every week, because it has reliable articles and sources that can be used to occupy   in my different works. What are you passionate about?

I’m not sure if it is a passion but let’s say that I’m passionate with books. I think that reads is a really fun activity ans everybody sould read at least one book in a month. I started reading for fun when I was eleven years old, before that I only read school books and I didn’t like them, but then one day I discovered something called "fan fiction" in facebook and I get obsessed whit it, after when I was thirteen years old I read the first real book just because I wanted to read it and not for obligation, the book was “The hunger games” and since then I could not stop reading. I usually read more in summer because I have more free time but I’m always trying to make a little space of time for read something.   The university right now is consuming almost all my time but the good news is that I have a big pile of books to read this next summer.

My favorite Picture

This is definitely not one of our best pictures, but is very important to me because is the last one we have together.   The girl in the left is my older sister and in the middle there is my brother, and that is the important part, we are a very close family and this year my brother went to   live in Toronto, and I miss him so much. The other day was his birthday, and is the first one we spent apart, so this picture makes my very emotional. I’m really happy for him and everything that he is doing, but I cannot avoid want him back.

Momentary obsessions

Hi, I get obsessed really fast with series or books and I’m always changed it, but in this moment my recent obsession are musicals, I think that movies or theater musicals are so fascinating because they tell you a story with music, and you can sing and listen them whenever you want. When I was a child, musicals were really boring for me, the only movie with music that I like was, of course, High School Musical (all of the movies) but I hated the rest of musical movies, that change three years ago when I discover a Broadway musical called “Hamilton: An American musical” , if you don’t know what it’s about, I can tell you that is a mix of history and rap, and is one of the coolest things ever, this musical in particular has made kids and teenagers   interesting in history because of the great rhythm and lyrics of the songs, so I started to think that musicals wasn’t that bad after all, now I want to watch every musical of Broadway and musicales movies. My favourite Gadget

Hello, welcome back! Today I’m going to tell you about my favorite Gadget.   I’m not really into electronics, but I do have a favorite Gadget and that’s my phone. My actual phone is an iPhone 5s, black and grey, It’s fast and very useful, the camera right now is not the best because of all the times that I drop it, but is still working. It was a gift from my brother because my old one was broken so he gives to me that phone two years ago.   I use it every day for chat with my friends and family in whatsapp, but my favorite apps are Twitter and Instagram, because they haves meme’s. I really like it because it’s allow you to be connected with the all the word, for example I can see and talk by video chat with my brother who is living in another country right now. Even though I love to having a phone, I think it’s consume a lot of my time and if I didn’t have it, I would have a lot more time to study or do other things, my life without it would be a lot more organize and relax,...
